Hot face, feeling flushed and head pressure.
« on: February 04, 2011, 06:50:27 PM »
Does anyone else get this sometimes? I finally got diagnosed after having an anxiety disorder for months. My doctor says I have GAD with Panic Disorder and symptoms often get to me... but sometimes this one takes me out. I just feel so out of it.

My face gets flushed (not visibly) and feels hot, and my head feels very heavy and full. After I eat, it often subsides a bit.

I've been tested for thyroid, and diabetes as far as I know (my GP says he checked everything)

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state
