Weird feeling in my left arm?
« on: September 05, 2009, 08:56:18 PM »
I keep having this weird feeling in my left arm.
It hurts, but it also feels like it's almost detached, like numb or something.
It's freaky.

EDIT: Sorry I meant to post in Hypochondria

I was getting a lot of weird sensations in my left arm for a long time- numbness, coldness, wetness, tingling, etc. Turns out it was due to the super stressed out muscles in my back and neck- a nerve ended up getting trapped. I went to a massage therapist and she released it... that was a weird feeling but afterwards, my arm felt back to normal! I'm guessing your shoulders and upper back muscles are pretty tight, too. If you can't get to a massage therapist, I really, REALLY recommend figuring out a good stretching routine and doing it daily. I can suggest a few sites to get you started if you'd like.

Good thing my mom is a licensed massage therapist!
I have never thought of that!
