Bump on Wrist
« on: September 04, 2014, 10:48:15 PM »
I had been doing so well! After having thought I had had leukemia, ALS, skin cancer and a host of other diseases, my doctor prescribed cipralex.

I also agreed to give CBT a try come January. All was well until a lump appeared in my wrist, just what every hypochondriac loves to see.

This time it's not in my head. I can see it clearly and for lack of a better description, it looks like a pimple deep within the skin.

I would love to go to the doctor but feel I can't. I am fairly certain it's a ganglion, something I've never had before, but I'm not a doctor.

I'm embarrassed to go to the doctor because she knows of my HA issues. My husband told me he'd never see the doctor over something like this!

I'm tired of running to the doctor every two seconds.

I have a bump on my elbow that just appeared - got bigger like acne and then started to go down in size. It's still there - but seems to be shrinking although it's taken quite some time. I'd just watch it and see what happens. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet as our bodies get all kinds of little bumps when we age.
