Missing a dose
« on: September 04, 2014, 12:06:07 PM »
So I am taking 100mg of Zoloft and was so tired last night that I forgot to take my medicine. Is there going to be any issues with this or should I hold off until later tonight to take the next dose? Benn on it for over 4 months.

Thanks,

Just wait till tonight. To stay in sync with the way you are meant to take the medication. You should be fine during the day. Maybe set an alarm on your mobile phone to remind you to take the medication. Lot of people can forget at times.

According to the PDR on Zoloft:

"Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose."  http://www.rxlist.com/zoloft-drug/patient-avoid-while-taking.htm

Hope this helps  :action-smiley-065:
