Zoloft how long does it take before side effects stop
« on: August 29, 2014, 05:46:53 PM »
Hi just wondering if anyone knows how long Zoloft side effects will last. I'm on week 2 at 100mg. I'm still getting tremors/a burning sensation/jaw stiffness and am still very anxious.
Thank you.

Unfortunately, this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question that can only be answered with: 'it depends.' They may stop in the next 30 seconds, or hang around for a few more weeks. Antidepressants work by encouraging the growth of new brain cells and strengthening connects between cells and brain regions and this is not a fast process.

NOTE: I'm not a doctor, and particularly not yours, so there may be factors I'm unaware of. Therefore all suggestions are general in nature and you should consult your doctor before following any of it, especially before changing med doses.
