how to stop self testing? neck especially
« on: August 22, 2014, 11:23:22 AM »
I'm driving myself crazy touching mynadams apple area, seeing if they're even, mad eitnsore, made my glands more, made a node or two swore, my entire neck is feela weird.
I'm scared of anything sinister in the throat...Idk.
My doctor two days ago just felt all over my throat and felt nothing, 4 doctors said my noses are fine 4 CBCs are do I stop?
I know there will always be lumps and bumps in my throat. I keep taking pictures of my throat too to monitor..

On another thread about nodes, you said to stop poking and prodding. We all know that doing so aggravates the node and prevents it from healing. I would say to take your own advice. Medical professionals and tests have ruled out anything sinister.

Perhaps you can do some constructive Googling and find a downloadable course on CBT or treating OCD tendencies or the like and start working on yourself while you wait for therapy.
