help
« on: August 19, 2014, 10:37:30 PM »
last time i posted about my brain tumour fear. sadly, the fear and the symptoms are still there. Headaches everyday(back of the head thru eyes, sometimes only the left side sometimes only the right), dizziness, neck pain, out of control mind, tired eyes(cant focus easily) and now muscle twitching (when im in bed). I dont know what to do now. IM SO SCARED! im so depressed, feel anxious all day 24/7. Tho we went to my family doctor and tell all about this and he said nothing about it and instead he just gave me pain reliever. He told me that if the headache and dizziness wont stop he'll refer me to a ENT doc and a psychiatrist( for my anxiety). i dont know guys.. do i really have a tumour or  other brain issues? i cant sleep for a month now. im so scared

I had all these symptoms and more when I thought I had a brain tumor. When we wait for symptoms, often they present themselves due to anxiety and over analyzing every sensation in our body.
Are your symptoms on and off? If they are, huge indication you are okay. If they're not, you most likely are still OK :) all your symptoms can be explained by anxiety and are some if the most common among us hypochondriacs as well.

Sounds exactly like me. At least you're being rational though. If you sit in front of your computer for hours, or even a little when you have a headache, you will make it worse or bring one on. Firstly because of straining your eyes and secondly like you said, because of muscles.
That's the only reason you have on and off headaches and anxiety is just exacerbating the condition when it truly is nothing to worry about.
I had your symptoms and my brain is totally healthy. You are too

Don't Google!!!! I should take my own advice but seriously, do not. I wouldn't even know about half the symptoms of things if I didn't google aka I wouldn't be worried about so many symptoms!! Don't do it. And 12 hours is crazy but I've done it. And it will give you a headache or at least some sort of bodily discomfort for sure.

Sounds like muscle tension to me. I'm having same thing right now. Back of head and neck is tight and feel the muscles pulling. It's over both my eyes and makes them tight. Also get dizziness too.

Sounds like me too. I have an unstable disc in my neck and get migraines on either side depending on how the disc is sitting. Physio has been my saviour. I was sure it was a brain tumour but as soon as I had clear results all the other funny symptoms stopped !

What really helps mine is muscle cream and heating pad.
