These are some great songs. The first two are amusing! You really have good taste in music, unlike my classmates at school.  :P
This one is one of my favourites. I love it.

And another. I think this one sounds very magical, mysterious almost. My dad plays it on his guitar.

Love the first singer. Always have done. She has one amazing voice. As for the second song. Has always been my favourite song by them. Have a couple of CDs here by them.

Shall we play a game of spot the connection between the next two songs. They are connected for a reason. Most people who know their music would be aware of the reason. How about you?

You can look the answer up if you have to. Easy to tell which song came first. I put them in the correct order of which was released first.

Well, what do you suppose happened? I didn't even need to guess what the connection is because as soon as my father heard me listening to Southern Man, he immediately proceeded to tell me the whole story (Da-ad!). Oh, well.
My mother loves this song. She says it reminds her of her childhood.

Dizziness is the feeling of being lightheaded, woozy, or unbalanced. It affects the sensory organs, specifically eyes and ears. It can cause fainting. Dizziness is not a disease but a symptom of other disorders. Great source!
And thank you for the info, Kavenchlos. That was very informative.

Don's song is still popular as ever. As for my other two songs. Kind of funny. Mr Young slating the folk from the South and so someone had to hit back. That's exactly what happened.

Some singers simply die too you. This is one of them. Only a short career. But one amazing woman with an amazing voice.

Will stick with Eva. Just love her voice.

Last one is a live session in a pub. Have watched all the videos there are of her. Love her singing.

Eva does have a beautiful voice. I was listening to these songs reading "Jane Eyre" and it was very relaxing. She has a nice style, too. Sort of jazzy.
I have this one for you. I asked my dad "What should I share with him?" and he recommended this one.

Here's another one.

Believe it or not, my friend who loves heavy metal really likes this.

The first song we still hear on the radio over here a lot. Is still a popular tune. Great song. Like a bit of classic music from time to time. Had a hospital appointment for a scan on Monday and I had classical music on all day long. Keeps me relaxed. Is a radio station that only plays classical music. Nice way to let go of any worries you might have.

Now for music that is a few years old by now. But it is still amazing. Band named ' All about Eve '. I will only pick the best songs. They were not around for that long. Lead singer was Irish.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCuSo8q7HnI

You will know the second song. I think so many people have covered the song over the years. I was happy to hear this version. They were popular at the time and still went with an old traditional number.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZcNSudmSHg

I love this third song. There is just something about the song.

I find classical music very relaxing, as well. Especially Debussy.
Yes, I'm familiar with She Moved Through The Fair. It's very pretty, actually. I was thinking about writing a little short story inspired by it, but I never did.
These are all very good. Never heard of All About Eve.
This is W.B. Yeats' poem "Stolen Child" put to music. It is about a changeling child. Changelings fascinate me, for some reason. I am the changeling expert, thanks to lots of time spent googling them.

I used to have this African song on a children's CD of international music my mother bought for me when I was six. It was this exact version. I still remember all the words, even though I have no idea what they mean! Brings back good memories.

The first song I loved. Good poet to take a poem from and put it in music. I actually have a web site all about the paranormal. Used to have one years ago and it vanished. So last year I decided to make another one. Always lots to write about with the paranormal.

http://mysteriousworlds.bravesites.com/    You will even see my picture on that site. Frightening looking skinhead that I am.  :laugh3:

As for music wise. Going to go with the might man himself. Bob Marley. Love to chill with his music. I actually recall a version of this song in the film ' the beach '. Is a classic.

Think the second song everybody loves. Think it has become his anthem.

For some reason I imagined you to look entirely different! Sort of like the fellow in your avatar.  :laugh3: Oh, don't worry, you aren't a frightening looking skinhead.
I find the paranormal to be very interesting as well. I used to occasionally run into faeries as a kid. Hardly anyone believes me, but I am not making it up. I made the mistake of telling my classmates in the 6th grade, and because of that, the class was separated into three categories: The ones who thought I was lying, the ones who thought I was "special", and the ones who were completely afraid of me. I don't know why they were so scared. I did manage to get one boy to believe me, though.
I've heard the first one before. It was on the same CD that the song You and Me which I shared with you earlier was on. When I was a kid I thought it was "Detention Song"!
I like the second one, too. I've never heard it before.
Here's one for you. I think this song is so peaceful and, ah... freeing? Maybe that's it.

Good band are America. Song was great. I would imagine more people would know the one about the horse with no name. Think that still gets a lot of radio play and is their most famous song.

I am open minded as far as the paranormal goes. Wouldn't have put the site together if I did not think there was something to it all. It is one of six sites I have. Have one on Genocide and world conflicts. One on mysterious disappearances too. One on serial killers. One on Ska music. Forget what the rest are about. I just like to write. Then I simply leave them be.

Time for some early morning tunes. My choice might surprise you again. Just like to singer of the band. She has a great voice.

The song singer does pop music more often than not. Just like this one song. Think the video is powerful.

Hmm, all of your sites sound very interesting. I like to write, as well.
Unusual selections, but very good. ;-) I love how the second is not only about what pop songs are normally about, but also about a mother's love for her child, in a way. She wants her daughter to know that she is perfect in her eyes, so that she will never have to go through what she did when she was younger, and she wants her to know that she is perfect just because.
These are two songs I sometimes listen to. They put me in a good mood. I use them sparingly so they will always have that effect on me. I don't know what you would call this type of music.
For some reason this first one makes me think of toddler running around playing together. Can you picture it?

I can well picture that first song. No cares in the world at all. Happy go lucky sort of song. Sadly the second song is unavailable in this country. That can happen at times. Copyright laws and all of that. Is a few I tried to share with a friend once from the UK charts that couldn't be played in America. Stupid really. But I am listening to the song any way. I know sites too well to get around the copyright rubbish. It depends on who puts them on you tube. Just found another version not put up by the record company. Another happy song.

Think I first heard thins singer when she made an album with Robert Plant. Former front man with Led Zeppelin. It was a one off album. She has a few good songs. Some religious. Others normal. :laugh3: Kind of takes you back in time. Music you would have heard years ago.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BPoMIQHwpo

I actually like Southern Rock music. Said if I lived in the States I would head down to the deep south. Find the music amazing.

Going to stick with the Southern Rock music. Another excellent band.

Maidin mhaith! Nach breá an lá é?  ;D
I've heard the first one before. A girl from school likes it, and I heard it once in a film. It has a nice melody.
The other two are new to me. Hmm, so you're a southern rock kind of fellow? You're definitely full of musical surprises!
Same goes for me here in the U.S. Some of the links you've posted aren't available here, but I've found versions that are available.
Unfortunately I'm unable to post any songs right now. Again, it's late and I don't want to be caught sneaking to get the laptop. But in the morning, it'll be a different story! ;-)
So please, share away. Be my guest. :-)

Ta an aimsir go halainn inniu. Ta suil agam go bhfuil tu i mbarr na slainte?

Enough of that foreign language.  :laugh3: My musical taste is really mixed. If the songs are good I don't really mind who is singing them. I just like good music. Time to jump back to the 1980's again. Cheesy looking video. OMD were a great band. Been into keyboard playing they might appeal to me a bit more.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suvxVcdRlr8

Will stick with OMD this morning.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqC3xTa3ugo

They were easy enough songs to pick up on a keyboard. Actually had them on this morning on my MP3 player. So still listen to them.
