stomach issues
« on: July 08, 2014, 03:25:23 PM »
Hi, I need some insight as I am in a very bad state running from one sickness to another.  I have been very tense and stressed out lately with a lot of anger at work too.  Today I had some stomach aches and bouts of nausea at about 1000 as I hadn't eaten anything.  Then I ate and drove for half an hour and I noticed that my stomach ached when I was sitting down.  This happened again. On my way home.  When drinking some water my stomach immediately felt better and when standing up or lying down my ache and nausea disappear.

Could this be stomach acid?  I am hungry but afraid to eat as I am thinking it could be something serious.
What do you think please?

You said when you drank water you felt better, could you be dehydrated?   I've recently been experiencing a lot of stomach aches and nausea and I think it's from new medication but I don't know for sure.   Not eating though will probably only make you feel worse.  Eat, and drink lots of fluids and try to just relax and take it easy.   That made me feel a lot better.  You could also try something like some pepto bismol.   I'm sure it has everything to with you being tense and stressed and not eating.
