Lump in throat
« on: July 07, 2014, 08:47:33 PM »
I have an intermittent lump in my throat that is making me crazy. It isn't there all the time, but it is there enough to really irritate me. I swear it migrates as well, up, by my uvula, and then down by my adam's apple. I am afraid it is an early sign of Bulbar ALS. I feel like it affects everything- my speech, my swallowing, etc.

I am having the same fears, but you have to think about the most common things it could be first to ease your mind. Acid reflux can cause your symptoms. I told myself: "Okay do I have a higher chance of those being acid reflux or cancer?" Obviously acid reflux!
