U should go to the doctor ASAP! I've heard of not being able to go for a few days but not a whole week. There could be a blockage. I doubt it's anything life threatening tho.

Call your doc and see what he says-you may need to go in.

Have you been drinking enough fluids?  I have found that getting enough water etc. helps me.  First thing in the morning, after I get out of bed, I have a full 8oz. glass of water.  Then throughout the day I make sure to drink enough.  Also, just to get you started (getting things moving) drink some prune juice----first thing in the morning---8oz. see if that helps.  So sorry you're going through this, I know how miserable it can be.

Take care :)

Let me ask. Is it that you don't have the urge to go or do you feel like going but you are constipated?

I would call your physician. In the meantime, if you go to a pharmacy and buy magnesium citrate, I guarantee you will poop.
My wife is a pharmacist and she calls it liquid dynamite.

Try a Fleet suppository.  You will go within 15-30 minutes.
