yes because of the anxiety and panic happening then the body has a lot of tension from being so alert and stressed and chemicals released very painful and can become chronic tension and yes even when you touch it seems to feel like we are bruised or a pulled muscle or for many they believe a heart attack but it is usually from the anxiety and also body posture .

Hope you feel better and it eases up try and do some stretches also learn to relax the muscles or get a massage.

That's actually been one of my biggest symptoms, for lack of a better term.

its called costochondritis. inflammation from all the tension from anxiety. i have had this. sore to the touch feels bruised. also in the center of the chest below breast line.

you can get like ibprofin 800s from dr or just time and relaxation. for me time healed it within 2 -3 months

Hi - Actually I have had that before but it never felt like this before. I wonder if my super HA made it really bad. I just started zoloft and I know mixing ibuprofen with it isn't recommend so I guess I'll have to go the relaxation route. Thanks.

Rib cage pain is very common for me. I get it all over too. I connect it with the different rate of breathing when anxious.
