Lexapro any other people use it ???

My dr prescribed me lexapro because I told her I don't want to be on brintillex it was scaring me to bad and is only 7 months old can anyone tell me if they like lexapro

Okay, but be aware that most antidepressants may initially increase anxiety including Lexapro, sometimes a lot. It is from the extra serotonin activity, but this settles down after a few weeks as the brain reduces serotonin synthesis and expression to compensate.

That is quite common too. SSRIs are very safe drugs.

I'm sorry you didn't continue with the Brintellix, but Lexapro is a very safe and proven drug that's done wonders for anxiety sufferer's.  Good luck.

Thank you both so much for this info Iv been doubting myself about taking them I'm glad to know they are safe that makes it better :)
