love my daughter's rheumy
« on: June 27, 2014, 03:16:29 PM »
my youngest was dx'd with Lyme about a year and a half ago.  The rheumy is so good with kids.  she talks right to my daughter.  AND she tells gross stories.   :jumping0009:   Last fall the doc released my daughter.  her lyme stuff was at bay, etc.  she told us if any new issues come up, to give a call.  which is kinda sad in a way, cuz her doc is FUN with a bit of quirky    :winking0008:  In March, I think it was, my daughter was complaining of joint pain so we had a round of blood work done and saw the rheumy again.  she had some inflammation in the wrists and her ankles were stiff.  anyway doc put her on meloxicam.   Well today was another follow-up appointment.  All of her blood work was perfect  ;D .  Her physical exam was fine as well.

There were no gross stories this time.  But what was fun was she said to my daughter,  "well, you look perfect....  now leave."      :jaw-dropping: :rotfl:

well once again we have been released from her care with the "if anything weird happens, give her a call"

It is great all the way around.  Great way to start the weekend.

I hope you all have a great one.   ;D

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state
