Aortic worry!!
« on: June 26, 2014, 10:07:56 PM »
I'm a 25 year 175lb old male. In good shape. Just recently started getting back in the gym. I was there about an hour ago. Not to long ago I'm walking through the grocery store and start having a pain at the top of my abdomen accompanied with a warm feeling. That feeling is still there as well as a righting in my stomach. I'm worried about the aorta. I'm up and waking around and just have a general bad feeling.

It may be muscular or GI related. You are pretty young to have an aortic aneurysm. My friends father had one and he was in extreme pain, but amazingly lived.

I know I'm young and in shape and have a healthy blood pressure with a healthy diet. Also I don't think they just suddenly come up. I've had my fair share of doctor appointments and hospital work ups in the past sox months and I've had ct scans during those times though I don't know if I had contrast. I think maybe six months ago give or take a month. Plus I had a stress EKG about 4 or 5 months back.

So things calmed down last night after I took a Xanax for the first time in months. Went to the gym today and felt fine but one I got home I was having the pain in about the same area. Right below the sternum at the top of the abdomen. Not muscular pain at all. I can rule that out.
