Breathing issues but no anxiety?
« on: June 25, 2014, 03:00:04 AM »
Does anyone else have issues with their breathing even when they feel completely fine? As I type this my throat feels kind of tight and I feel like I have to keep clearing my throat.
This has happened a lot before and it always goes away but is this just something that comes with being someone who suffers from anxiety?

One of my telltale signs that my anxiety is building is when I start not being able to take a deep breath on a regular basis. Then I know that I better cool things down before it gets worse. It took me a few years and one horrific HA episode at the ER where I was literally planning my funeral because of an imaginary giant lung tumor that was restricting my breathing to accept it as a sign of anxiety.  I also thought that I was fine and not anxious at all when this happens. Now I know recognize it for what it is.
