Hello, I'm new here and glad I have found this resource. I'm in a real downward spiral with my health anxiety right now. I think about committing myself to inpatient behavioral treatment daily. It seems like it would be reassuring to stay somewhere where you can be constantly monitored. I know that sounds crazy and there's no way you could live there, plus that would be a terrible life anyhow. Has anyone else ever had these thoughts?
It could help to try it for a week. The daily therapy might be useful. Have any of you ever had an inpatient stay? If so, was it helpful?
