This is just me but when I'm having digestion problems I seem to have worse panic. I don't get mine as often as you but you might try Tums.or some peppermint to see if it calms your stomach and panic. More and more research is linking panic and anxiety to digestion issues.

:goofy:i used to get attacks starting late grade 11. They had gotten worse throughout the years till I was 26, then they started subsiding to which I have one every two months or so. It is a relief, I'm not religious but a friend in recovery ( I was drinking each day to take away the panic)told me to go to church and pray.... It worked.  Slowly but surely the attacks went away and didn't take over my life. There is hope

I'm new to panic disorder (was just officially diagnosed today), but I don't seem to have it as badly as some people. My first panic attack happened about a month ago, and I had another less intense one that happened last week. Also, for some reason, they only seem to happen at night for me, probably because I'm afraid of losing consciousness. I have had some anxiety during the day, but the anxiety is nothing compared to the actual attacks when they do happen. And when the panic attacks do happen, they're completely at random. Like, I could just be thinking about any old thing, and then boom, panic attack.

I can relate to how you feel completely , sometimes when my anxiety peaks and I have a long episode of panic attacks I also feel nauseous , and gassy. It upsets my stomach to the point I have symptoms of IBS and no foods are appealing to me at all until the symptoms vanish as if nothing ever happened , then I get frustrated that I even had the panic attack.

I have about 1-2 episodes a day , sometimes none for days aswell.

Keep calm ~

Well since last time I posted, I still have attacks, maybe 1 or 2 a month now, nothing like the all day panicfest when I turned 17/18. thus turned into agoraphobia and I never left the house/unless drinking first, I even felt anxiety picking up the phone. So happy thats over now. However when I have an attack now, I can take 3 Ativans and klonopins and IT still won't let up till I pass out.

On average I can have a good day without any panic attack and then (frequently unfortunately) I can have about 3 per day. Panic attack not anxiety attack. I'd much rather have just an anxiety attack any day, they are much easier to deal with. You can also have rolling attacks where it may feel like one continuous episode when in reality it is several individual attacks that just continue to re-occur. Not easy to get through, but not impossible to get through. I would read up as much as you can about anxiety attacks and panic attacks it will help you cope. Your belching symptom I would think is unrelated and nothing to worry about. You could be having worse panic attack symptoms to contend with (depersonalization, derealization, rapid heart beat, Impending doom, ect) hope you find some relief!!

hmmm, these days... I'm not exactly sure, but something that counts as a panic attack (slight feeling of unwell doesn't really count, cuz I can easily get past those...) I think I have a panic attack.. *ponders* Maybe once every other few months? I haven't had a real panic attack in 8 months or so. *knocks on wood* I used to have like 10-20 a day, sometimes one that would seem to last all day long, but seems I've gotten past a lot of it. ^-^

I'm really weirdly excited to see you use the word "rolling" attacks. That's how I've been describing mine for years and people look at me like I'm nuts. I will have times when for several days I will have what seems like a continuous panic attack that only lets up slightly before getting worse again. When I told my last therapist about that, she told me I didn't know what a panic attack really was! I definitely know, I've been having them for years. I also differentiate between panic attacks and anxiety attacks. I get what I consider to be anxiety attacks (basically lower level panic attacks, more manageable) very often, sometimes every day. But true panic attacks don't happen as often.
