For the past two days, I've been having this on/off aching pain in my lower jaw.  Before I rush out to the dentist, I was wondering if it could be something else.

The past week, I spent going into a pool every day.   One day, my son took a pool swimming noodle filled it with water and blasted it into my ear.  He "said" he was going to say something into it but instead shot the water into my ear.  Needless to say, I was not happy.

My ear hurt for a few minutes afterwards, but stopped.  Now a few days have passed and I have this on/off pain in my jaw, however, my ear does not hurt at all.

Could that pain be related or wouldn't I have ear pain, too?

Hi,

I dont know for sure, but I imagine it would be connected! When I had an ear infection my jaw and my head also ached so I do think it is related.
