tingly??
« on: June 10, 2014, 06:01:01 AM »
Since last night ive had a "tingly" left thumb -- just the tip of it. Its still there this morning. Across 3 of my other fingers I feel a bit tingly but also like a "crawly" feeling too. Anyone have an idea? I know it could be a pinched nerve, anxiety etc...but its hard for me to think that simple especially with my heightened anxiety lately.

nothing hurts and there are no other symptoms. I'm afraid it will either A. Be something terrible. B. not go away. Or C. Continue up my arm, around my body etc.

I get the same thing in my fingers at times usually in the left hand 3 fingers and once on awhile on my right hand the thumb so strange but from what I have been told and I have been checked out its the way we use our hands or it is anxiety and yes at times it can be a nerve being pinched or carpal tunnel.

Majority of the time this is nothing and with mine sometimes they really hurt when they are numb but the more I stretch my arm and keep rubbing my fingers and bending them it goes away.

Hope they ease up and if it continues you can go see a doctor just to ease your mind.
Take care

In my opinion what you are experiencing is carpel tunnel syndrome. Pressure on the median nerve as it passes through the carpes tunnel at the wrist. The symptoms usually intensify at night

Now ive noticed that my thumb is a bit tingly (a little less).. but now its a little sore. my other fingers are fine. I'm scared it has to do with something cardio vascular from smoking ( im trying to and have cut down a bit).

is it common from anyone's opinion to be sore after being really tingly?
