my life

Is so.......boring. I really don't know how or where to begin to change it. I'm just at home and I sit around until there is something to do. What do you guys do when the anxiety calms down and you have time to so something?

Shaggy, I know what you mean.  I think anxiety makes life so small, limited and boring, isolated.  I found I must always push myself
to not sit at home and watch tv or get on the computer.  Today I took myself to the movies.  I try to do anything I can to break out of
ruts.  If I always work and come straight home -- some time I'll stop somewhere to eat, etc.

Shaggy, why don't you start with just one thing you can do differently.  Even if it's a bit uncomfortable.  That can widen the circle of
life and make things more fun.  I find friendships are important too.

I have GAD more than social anxiety.  Since I live alone, one thing I enjoy is having a few friends over for a slumber party.
And tomorrow I have a date with someone I met online.  Anxiousness still comes up but I try to manage it, be comfortable with it.

Yeah, you're completely right . I'm definitely going to take your advice and try to do something different every day. But since money is tight, it'll probably have to be small things like going out for a walk.
