Painful node/pimple right armpit?
« on: June 04, 2014, 05:56:17 PM »
I had some discomfort in my right armpit tonight, checked in the mirror and saw some redness, and realized that it hurts to touch a lot and it feels like there is a little pimple/node there. I wasn't shaving my armpit recently and I haven't use antiperspirant. I also don't have any infection that I know of, no fever or anything.

I can't seem to tell if it is hard or soft, my guess would be soft, but it's also not moveable or I think it is not. If it was somewhere else I would guess it's just inflamed pimple but in the middle of an armpit instant thoughts are swollen lymph nodes-cancer.

Anyone had similar things? I am 29y old male btw.

I get swollen armpit nodes all of the time. Yes they are painful and my armpit has become significantly swollen. I've had this sense childhood. My mother too. If its red, its a pimple or an in grown hair. Nodes are not red and don't cause any rash or visible irritation on the skins surface. Whatever your experiencing, its skin related.
