Bounding Pulse is annoying.
« on: June 03, 2014, 08:26:21 PM »
Does anyone else get a bounding pulse. In the last couple months whenever I do literally anything my pulse beats really, really hard. I can feel it up through my back and neck. It's very irritating and makes me feel a little ill.

Is this anxiety related or should I possibly talk to a doctor about this. It's just such an odd symptom. I don't really have anxiety attached to it as I have no idea what could cause it.

It feels like I'm doing really intense cardio. Without the exhaustion and sweating.

I've had this and still do get it. I did see my doctor but only because I didn't want to linger over the what ifs forever. It is most likely anxiety related. However, if you feel it sticking around for a few more days you might want to see your doctor so that you can calm your symptom down.

I have had it 3 months solid. The only thing I haven't had done is an echocardiogram. Is this feeling actually related to BP or just perception.

I've been having that quite recently too, from simple things. It was really annoying and scary at first but I got used to it. I think it's some kind of fight or flight response, just try your best to calm down and it'll eventually pass but it's always worth checking with the doctor; an ECG might even calm your nerves. I had one done and it was very quick and it did calm my nerves some.

Being even mildly dehydrated will also cause it.
