PLS help - lump in breast or rib? How can I tell??
« on: June 02, 2014, 09:31:45 AM »
I got maybe 3-4 hours of sleep last night - all I could think about was this new area I found in my left breast and spent all night poking and prodding to figure out if it was something bad (which of course I'm convinced it is).  It is just below my nipple toward the lower part of my breast and pretty deep.  My husband felt it and thinks it's a rib but I'm not so sure.  I feel the area he's saying could be a rib, but there's one spot on it in particular that feels slightly rounded and I can roll my fingers over it.  I tried checking the other breast to compare and MIGHT feel the same thing but not exactly.  I am so freaked out right now.  Please, can anyone help?

All I can think to suggest is to find the spot then see if you can trace it to your sternum.  If you can, it's a rib.
