Bit by something.
« on: May 28, 2014, 12:07:13 AM »
I was bit by something a couple hours ago on my thumb, I have no idea what it was but there was a weird burning sensation and then pain almost like a cramp in my thumb and top of hand. Now my wrist is hurting and my forearm is feeling funny too... I don't know if it's from the bite or if my anxiety is making it worse. Please help, has anyone had symptoms like this after getting a bite? How do you know if it's serious or not?? I'm starting to freak out especially because I have no idea what got me. After a bite how long does it take if you have a severe reaction? My hand is a little bit swollen but nothing major. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hate panicking

Look closely and see what the bite looks like.  If there are two holes, it was probably a spider.  We had an infestation of spiders once and those suckers BITE.  Is it itching?  If it's itching take some benadryl and put on some water mixed with baking soda.
