Leukemia fears . . . please read
« on: May 26, 2014, 08:04:08 PM »
Hi all! This is my first post. I have had hypochondria issues throughout the past year, such as brain tumor fears, heart fears, etc. For the past few months, however, I have been mostly fine -- but now my anxiety seems to be starting up again, with my current fear being leukemia. :(

I don't have many symptoms at the moment except a worrying unexplained bruise on my arm. I noticed it a few days ago, when it was fairly small and yellowish in color -- but now it has developed into a darkish streak running down my arm. I also noticed one or two small pinkish spots under my skin. Are these petechiae?

I have had no other symptoms. I had a cold and a headache a few weeks ago that was quickly resolved. And a few nights ago I was sweating lightly but I haven't since.

Advice, knowledge or anything would be much appreciated!!
