« on: May 26, 2014, 02:38:12 PM »
So 2 days ago I started getting a ache that goes from my armpit down to my hands. It comes and goes I'm freaking out its a heart attack or something ? Can a heart attack last for days? My pulse is normal at 70 bpm

Does not sound like a heart attack at all to me, but I'm not a doctor and if it progresses perhaps get checked.  To me it sounds more like nerve pain, coming from a tense neck and possibly shoulders as well.  Try a nice hot shower on the neck and see if that helps a bit.

I can't say what it is, but that's not consistent with heart pain.

I think you would have many other symptoms, as well, if it were heart related pain.

I, too, have had an aching left arm for the past few days that has me a little concerned, too.   I have a tender spot in my upper back and shoulder as well as a tender spot in my upper left chest.  I think they are all related but I still worry about it being my heart.

Try taking a hot shower as someone suggested or a hot bath.  A heating pad might also help.  Hope you feel better.
