leg muscles difference
« on: May 25, 2014, 01:59:28 PM »
I noticed that my left leg muscle on my shin area is softer  and less tense than my right leg shin muscle. I am left handed/left foot dominant and I am wondering if this is anything to be concerned about? ALS scare sort of coming back when i was fine for the past 2 weeks and idk if its muscle dystrophy or not.

Normal! I had the same issue with my legs . My left is much larger, and has a fatty area on the back. freaked me out something horribly. BUT we are not symmetrical at all. We all have different sized legs, arms, hands ect ect... you are perfectly normal :)

Im currently suffering through the same fear. Actually worried about a few motor neuron diseases.

I have the same thing happening all over my body or my mind is playing tricks on me.

I have had 2 emgs both normal.

I still have fear because new things always pop up but im going for my final appointment with a specialist soon.

I suggest you see a neuro, get an emg and try to move on  its hard but it will get better

Parents keep saying I am fine and not to worry but Idk I want too but I don't even know if I can afford the EMG test.
