speech problems
« on: May 23, 2014, 09:51:47 PM »
I am currently not feeling anxious but the past few days I have this feeling like im pronouncing words oddly. almost like im slurring my words slightly but it feels more weird to say the words than it sounds.

I feel as if my tongue has gotten soft and thick and just doesnt say the words right.

am i alone on this one?

I've felt like this a lot.  It's anxiety, I think.

Definitely not alone! Some days I notice I'm speaking a little off, and of course focusing on it makes it worse. For me, it's mostly having to think of words. It's either stress or sleep/vitamin deficiency for me, so I wouldn't worry too much!

If it lasts longer than a week or seems to be getting worse, you can check with a doctor, but that symptom by itself doesn't really point to anything serious.
