Back hurts if I don't eat

I get this weird pain in my back, near the kidney area on both sides, if I skip a meal or wait to long to eat. What is this? If I sit down it stops or if I bend at the waist it subsides. But, standing upright makes the pain return. Again, it is only if a skip meals and such.

I never heard of anything causing pain if one DOESN'T eat (except an ulcer and that wouldn't be in your BACK) - so I don't see how it could be anything bad at all - may be it's a muscle and it's just a coincidence that it hurts at that time.  A muscle would cause pain in different positions.
