Almost perfectly symmetric mole.. but... (pic included)

I've had this mole forever. I took a super hi res photo of it. Here it is:

I think over the past few years it has become darker, but I am not sure if that is anxiety or reality.

Should i be worried? It doesn't fit the melanoma stuff...

Looks like a normal mole to me, but I'm not a doctor.

Went to the doctor! She said not to even worry bout it at all. I asked if I should go to the derm. She said nawwwww, it's totally normal :)

I have a derm who knows by now if I'm worried about something, to go ahead and take it off.  I had one that looked like that and it was perfectly fine.  I had a dark one on my butt that was not shaded like that but it came up out of nowhere and it was severely dyplastic so a honking big 3 inch long, 3 inch wide, 3 inch deep removal because it COULD (not would) have become melanoma at some point.

What I didn't mention is that it is 1-2 mm in diameter. Maybe 1.5 mm. It's absolutely tiny. A little speck.

I would not waste any more time worrying about this - especially, considering the doctor said you were okay. You claim to have had this mole all your life. I have one just like that. Normal.
