Nights sweats caused by warm environment?
« on: May 04, 2014, 04:02:41 AM »
Hi there. Right now my anxiety is uncontrollable together that my ashtma is also bothering me.
So i woke up about 7:30am for my breakfast and medicine for my ashtma and then went back to bed at 10am because i was still sleepy and didn't get enough sleep last night. So when i went back to bed i turned off the air conditioner and remained closed all of the windows in my room and it's summer here in our country and it's really way too hot. And woke up for about 12pm drenched on my scalp and neck and the pillow on my head was slightly damp.
I
Well i guess it's not even a night sweat because it's in the noon time. Do you guys get slight drenched when your room is hot and together with the weather it's hot too? I am really scared that this is a symptom of Hodgkin's Lymphoma since it's my Health Anxiety since 2013. I am really terrified!

Please excuse my exaggerated post because i know some of you will think, "I think you just answered your question."

I just really need some kind reassurance. :(

Well if it is hot in your room , it could be a good reason for sweating.

If your room is too hot, you will also be too hot, and you will sweat.  We're made to sweat in warm weather; it keeps our body temperature from elevating.

Lucky you to not have night sweats every night and only have them when it's warm in your house. :p
