Fibromyalgia New Diagnosis Weird Symptom
« on: April 27, 2014, 08:28:18 PM »
I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and was wondering if anyone else suffers from dry mouth symptoms, taste buds changes, sensitivity to salt and spicy food, just overall feeling of weirdness in your mouth?

yes! wow finally someone who gets the same thing as me.. it is so odd one day I can eat something no problem the taste is fine then another day it just not tasting right.. the dry mouth is bad I always drink water never leave home without it but I don't leave home a lot so I always have water right beside me.
some days food will actually make me gag..

the pain from fibro is bad enough then add the taste and dry mouth issue just makes it worse.

so sorry you also have fibro it is not fun.

I've had fibro for 17 years, and yes... I ALWAYS have a bottle of water in my bag, on my desk, or on my nightstand at night.  I also know first-hand that drinking plenty of water helps A LOT with fatigue, so keep it on hand at all times.  Hugs and Blessings!
