So... I am having lots of anxiety and near misses with panic attacks because I have not been sick all day.  I have been sick for the last week with horrible nausea, bloating, abdomen pain that has veeeerrry slowly reduced in occurrences (though not really in intensity).  I am just freaking out because I haven't been sick all day... it's like I'm just anticipating it and making myself sick.  At least I can tell the difference between what panic/anxiety feels like and what the horrible nausea was like.  There is no comparison-- I would rather have a panic attack!

Thanks for listening.  Just needed to get that out.  Hoping it would help.

Editing to add:  This has been a pretty bad illness and my anxiety was through the roof.  That being the case, my "anxiety threshold" has been demolished.  I know it will just take time and distance from being sick for it to build up again, but dang.  It's just crazy that even though I KNOW there is no reason to freak out, I can't seem to stop myself from it.

You're worried because you feel normal? Relax! Feeling normal is pretty damn sweet.

We all have to shake our heads and laugh at ourselves sometimes. Hypos have some pretty irrational fears and worries. The fact that you recognize this is irrational thinking is a good start, now change it! You've got to keep your thought processes on the straight and narrow, because if you're worried about feeling normal, who knows where your mind will drift when you get some real symptoms again.

Like I said, when you feel good and normal, enjoy it!
