Constipation and Prostatitis, how do you solve it?
« on: April 19, 2014, 11:29:19 AM »
So, After 3 doses of Bactrim, my prostatitis flare-up/episode is getting better. It started 3 days ago when I had 2 huge cups of coffee, and it gave me diarrhea for like an hour. Immediately after that I felt a change. So I've been constipated ever since. Just had some coffee and it helped me go a little bit, but I can still feel a lot of pressure in that prostate/rectum region, to the point where it's hard just to sit here and type this.

Does anyone know of a way to just naturally be able to go to the bathroom better? I don't want to drink more coffee because that's what caused this episode in the first place.

I don't want to use laxatives either.

1-2 TBS of fresh ground flax seed. Add it to yogurt, oatmeal or smoothie.
