Dizziness when up and moving around
« on: April 17, 2014, 10:44:30 AM »
Not sure exactly how to explain this, but I've been experiencing this for about 2 weeks now, every day and all day...

When I'm up and walking around I get dizzy - it seems to be related to my eyes because if I'm walking around and look all over the place with my eyes I get dizzy.

If while walking I focus on something and don't move my eyes around I don't get the same dizzy feeling

I'm just concerned because this has been happening to me everyday for a little over two weeks now.

I took paxil for 2 months, but stopped taking it cold turkey 2 whole months ago.

I get plenty of rest too.

I guess my question is, could this be SSRI withdrawal?  Its been 2 months since I've been off it (paxil), you wouldn't still get withdrawal symptoms that long after stopping it would you?

I would see an ENT physician, as dizziness is their specialty.

I think this could be any number of "harmless" things, like an ear infection/fluid build up from allergies or otherwise. Least it tends to be that when it happens to me. Vertigo more than actual dizziness. Happened over the course of a couple weeks and then went away.

Or its just plain ol' anxiety. I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
