All my joints feel swollen
« on: April 16, 2014, 04:14:59 AM »
My knees have been feeling swollen for about a week now, but I just woke up to ALL my joints feeling this way.  Ankles, toes, fingers, elbows, wrists, knees of course - the feeling extends up my shins.  They look normal but they all feel tight and full of water.   I'm still in a lymphoma panic and have no idea what's going on with my body here.

Hmm.... is it possible that you've been doing some new activity that's causing them stress?

Also, I don't know how old you are -- is it possible you might be going through some hormonal changes?

Given my high level of HA, I try not to run to a doctor for every little thing, but if something is bothering me for more than a couple of weeks and it is limiting my normal activity, then I go and ask.

Does that help?

No new activity.  I'll be 31 next month.

Ally, good luck.  Joint pain can be caused by a lot of things!  Muscle tension seems to cause it or make it worse a lot for me, and we all know anxiety causes tension!

My joints don't actually hurt, they feel like water balloons.  It's weird to say the least.
