I just took a class in on the weekend. It's a mix of comfortable yoga, mindful mediation, and relaxing.

Sounds excellent. Yoga, tai chi, and meditation are the best. Good for the body, mind, soul.

Yoga can include some relaxation. Tai chi is also for relaxation as well as balance training. The far reaching benefits of meditation have yet to be fully acknowledged even though it has existed for countless years.

I do yoga a couple of times a week. It's relaxing and good exercise. Keep at it!

I went to my first yoga class the year after 9/11. Could not deal with that tragedy, that sea change for our country and much of the world, as it turned out. The physical exercise translates to mental benefits along with the bodily benefits. The emphasis on healing breath, stretching in all directions, strengthening bones, focussing on the all important spine, on maintaining balance, are all basic to yoga.

Still go to classes twice a week and practice on my own to a variety of music. It is a prelude to seated meditation. Together they help me to cope, stay positive, stay strong, stay hopeful.
