when I wake up, the first few steps I take my feet feel sore/stiff... then they are ok. Is that normal for other people too?

I guess it depends on your age or activity level during the day.

Happens to me a lot, even when I'm not active.  Muscle tension during the night?  Maybe we just need better shoes.

That is a symptom of plantar fasciitis. It's very common and okay to google. Stretching will help.

When I wake up I feel like I've been run over by a truck.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.  - AnxietyZone member Sixpack

The knuckles in my hands will hurt too, actually.  Every joint in my body, basically.
