Buspar, anyone?
« on: April 02, 2014, 02:51:01 PM »
Anyone have any experience with buspar? My ob okay end me to take it while pregnant, so I started it yesterday. I REALLY want it to help, but the reviews I've read aren't all that great:(. I'm going absolutely crazy right now, and I can feel how tense and anxious my body is. I'd give anything for some kolonopin;).

Yeah, it definitely has less side effects, but it doesn't seem like it works for many people, and it works best when taken with an ssri. I wish it didn't take so long to kick in. At this point I really need to have something take the edge of or else the rest of my pregnancy is going to be horrible. I mean I seriously always want to go to the ER for a heart attack. Every day. Multiple times.

My daughter tried about 5 or 6 kinds of drugs and now is on this one and she likes it.  All the others caused nausea or messed with her mood and all, but she said Buspar actually is doing wonders for her.   The only thing she gets is body zaps if she takes it on an empty stomach.

I tried it but had to change to something else. It made me dizzy. Of course, everyone is different and may be great for you.
