Digestive enzymes and probiotics really helped my ibs. Also avoiding trigger foods. Keep a food journal to figure the most offensive. Ibs is also worsened by anxiety, so get treated for that too.

Did you have the stomach bug that's going around?  I was sick for 2 weeks and it was all the stomach flu.

When I have bad IBS attacks, I almost pass out from the pain and yes, I throw up.  It's horrible.

Colon cancer doesn't make you throw up.

I had stomach virus which gave me horrific stomach pains / cramps for 10 days and was constantly in the bathroom. No vomitting though. I think you would have more severe symptoms if it was colon cancer my freinds, or any cancer.... Loss of weight.. not 5 pounds, more like 50 pounds in a short period of time, dark blood in the stool, etc. This isnt what sounds like you have and you are too young for that I believe. I am being a total hypocrite.

I think the colonoscopy is a good idea. Our intestines are like a slinky and can move around and kink up. You could just have a small bowel obstruction in that area. That keeps food from passing (or all of it) and then you throw up.  A few days on liquids makes you feel better, then you eat and it backs up again. If that's what it is, they'll just get you cleaned out.

The colonoscopy is no big deal. They knock you out so you know nothing!

How was your colonoscopy. You get immediate results and dont have to wait unless you are waiting for biopsy results.

can they maybe try an ultra sound? it could be your appendix if the pain is on your right side. I have also heard about people having negative reactions after gall bladder has been taken out. I do not think it is cancer. I bet you it is nerves mixed with bad IBS or maybe even appendix! I would check on that for sure! I hope you feel better soon and that things work out with your gf! Keep your head up!

I also suffer from nausea and stomach pains. I have had multiple tests and ultrasounds done and they cannot find anything :/ I know how frustrating it can be!
