Weird skin issue
« on: March 26, 2014, 11:01:14 PM »
Over the past two days, my brother and I have developed an itchy rash all over our bodies.  I'm 20 and he is almost 2.  My dad thinks it might be chickenpox but my brother was vaccinated a couple of months ago and I was vaccinated as a kid.  Is it possible for us to have chickenpox even though we were vaccinated?  Or could this be something else?

There are so many things that could cause such a rash, most of which are not chicken pox. Any speculation on its cause would almost certainly be wrong. Only a doctor could tell you what caused it, and even they may not know. What they would know is whether it was serious or not.

I have had a rash that comes and goes on my neck , mostly the right side, for about 2 years now. Also under just my left arm pit and not my right. I also have it now. I cant figure it out either. I had chicken pox vacc as a kid as well. Doubt it is that. Could be something very simple, something in the air in the house, the detergent, soap you use etc.
