Anxiety come and go for long periods?
« on: March 25, 2014, 12:15:22 PM »
I'm 15 and have had Anxiety the majority of my life.  It has never been completely constant though.  It will come for months or years and then go away.  In the period of it being gone I'm social happy euphoric, just love life.  Then something that shouldn't effect me as much as it does happens (stomach flue, just getting sick in general).  My Anxiety come back stays for awhile and the cycle repeats?  I have a fear of bipolar I'm not sure if this is bipolar or just anxiety.  My psycholgist I don't but I'm still worried.

I've had anxiety for as long as I can remember. My health anxiety comes and goes. Can't wait for this last HA episode to go away already.  If your Dr. doesn't think you have bipolar then you prob don't. Hang in there.

I am 32 and I can chart out the pattern of my major bouts of anxiety (though I am a "worrier" most of the time)

12-14 : Anxiety/panic attacks started
14-18:  "Fine"
18-19:  Anxiety
19-22: "Fine"
22-25: Anxiety
25-28: "Fine"
29-now: Anxiety

I think it is totally normal for it to ebb and flow.
