I want my life back
« on: March 23, 2014, 11:00:05 PM »
Seriously... does anxiety ever go away? I have every symptom you can think of, I have stacks of medical bills, and I can't do much. This sucks and I feel for everyone on this site because this illness is so terrible.

Tired, I like your title "I want my life back."  My wish for everyone is that we all have our lives back.
Our old selves  Our confidence and joy.  Make it so.

Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.  That's a buddhist chant to bring out one's highest life force and potential.

My psychiatrist put it like this:  The anxiety will never fully go away.  If you can control it, it'll be like a fly buzzing in the room. Yes its there, and yes its annoying but its just a distraction that's all...

My therapist suggested that a life without any anxiousness is not good either.  Because many of our high points
have anxiety and excitement mixed together.  (I like calling it anxiousness rather than anxiety.)
