What's your history with them? Do you get them?

No, I almost never get them, can't remember the last time I have.  I've been having migraines today and I feel kind of tired, dizzy, and my health anxiety is making things 10x worse.

First off, are you sure it's a migraine and not a tension headache? A migraine usually doesn't respond to regular headache meds. I used to get migraines but stopped when I figured out they were caused by corn syrup. I still get tension headaches from time to time.

The underlying causes of migraines are unknown. They are a neurovascular disorder, but the mechanisms of them and the pain are unknown.  It is not known whether neural mechanisms or blood vessels are the main cause, or if they both contribute.

A migraine is a very specific condition.....and in fact there are migraine variants rarely where a headache isn't involved (albeit rarely). I wouldn't jump to calling your headache a migraine necessarily.

I get a lot of migraines ! My migraines tend to come when I eat certain foods they are bad temple pain and me I get aura first when a migraine is coming on, my hands get tingling and my eyes become sensitive to light and things appear alot closer to  me. that I gotta be in a dark place to get rid of em. Medication don't cause em to go away unles I throw up the food or I take a long nap. So I hope this helped :)
