Effexor soon
« on: March 21, 2014, 02:13:25 PM »
Taking effexor in a week after I get a few tests done. I was on it for 6 years and did great, got off of it for no reason, tried to get on it again made me wired jumped off it, goin in for round three. Wish me luck. I've got klonopin this time. I feel like I'm going into battle, the first few weeks are always the roughest.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have like a seizure or go into convulsions on it.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have like a seizure or go into convulsions on it.

Did you ever have a seizure/convulsion on any of the about 2,200 days you took it before? No? Then why would you think this would be possible now?

You're counting dead chickens before they don't hatch....which is as nonsensical as it sounds. There are two types of anxiety episodes, the ones that hit out of the blue, and those we self talk ourselves into. The latter are by far the most common and even the out of the blue type probably owe more than a little to self-talk. Please stop imagining reasons for not taking Effexor, and start thinking about reasons why you should.

Yeah but this like empty, soulless feeling along with dp, is that all anxiety and depression related? I feel like I like lost my self idk how to explain it. I feel like emotionless, empty and physically walking through molasses everyday.

Four posts of self-talking yourself into misery. Stop doing this. Find something to distract you from these thoughts.

Perhaps. Or you talking yourself into being depressed, which isn't necessarily the same as being depressed. Either way the faster you get onto Effexor the better, IMHO.
