Definition of Fatigue
« on: March 17, 2014, 12:32:27 PM »
I've always wondered this and was curious what other thought...one symptoms of almost all probelms is a feeling of fatigue. Now we all feel tired a lot but when you think of the symptom, how Exectly do you think you feel? Is it so tired that you can nearly keep your eyes open or is it that your body feels tired and you need to sit down all the time? Or is it something else?

I see exhaustion and fatigue as two separate things. When I am not getting enough sleep, stressed, busy for hours and feel extremely tired, that is exhaustion.
However, fatigue doesn't have much to do with sleepiness to me. I can rest for hours and not feel refreshed.

It puts me in a very strange mental condition as well, I am no longer even able to feel tired or be aware that I'm tired, I just am tired. I don't know if that makes any sense.

To me, fatigue is having a feeling of no motivation, like you feel you don't have any energy/desire to walk up stairs to shower or drive to the store or cook etc... Being tired, I think of being sleepy/heavy eyes. Exhaustion I think of how I feel after working out or some kinda physical exertion.
