AnxietyZone and Buzzfeed
« on: March 16, 2014, 09:10:10 AM »
I don't know about you, but I often times find myself being extra anxious after I read the posts here, so I've taken to going to Buzzfeed immediately after this website.  After spending 10 minutes looking at pictures of cats wearing funny hats or taking the "What Kind of Pizza Are You?" tests I've forgotten all about my anxiety - lol

Not advocating Buzzfeed - use any website that makes you laugh - the point is don't let the anxiety that this site can cause last!!!!

To be quite honest this is most likely the best site out there to discuss medical issues even when they are not imagined because most members have pretty decent knowledge of the medical science, as for non-doctors, which comes in handy because it keeps fearmongering to the minimum. Countless times i came across these insane messages on other boards, such as, "OMG you have a swollen lymph node for a year, my friend had it and it was cancer go to the ER right now", you dont get that kind of ***** on this forum and i love it for that. It can possibly be a source of inspiration for our HA but only if you let it.

I'm not saying this site doesn't help - I think its helps tremendously.  I'm just saying that going to a "fun" site afterwards helps to reduce any anxiety I get from reading these boards.
