Over the past few days, my truck has been leaking coolant. Other than adding a new jug to the radiator, I've had no contact with the stuff whatsoever.
I drove my girlfriend's Camaro to work last night, came home, showered, and sat down to relax (I was EXHAUSTED, btw, which is a total trigger for my anxiety). Decided to pour myself a glass of Canada Dry Ten, which is my go-to drink at the moment.
Opened the new bottle, poured it, picked up the glass, and winced. It was unusually sweet. This shouldn't be so surprising; there are several different types of soda that tastes different from batch to batch (root beer is notorious for this). More than likely, they'd simply added more syrup to this bottle.
What does my crazy ass mind think?
"Oh, God... somehow, antifreeze got into this bottle. I'm going to die."
Despite the fact that this was a NEW bottle, that was never anywhere close to this truck with the leaking radiator, and it'd been almost 16 hours and 2 showers later since I'd even been close to the truck.
I made myself go to bed, and today, I feel okay. I hope I'm in the clear.
