GI issues or anxiety attacks?
« on: March 05, 2014, 10:34:59 AM »
My primary doctor has sent me back to the gastroenterologist and I'm freaking out. Previously I was able to get through the day by telling myself that my physical symptoms were caused by anxiety but now I'm not so sure and I'm worried that I will have to live with this stupid stomach ache for the rest of my life.

May I ask what your symptoms are? I have been having some pretty bad anxiety and have been to the er and doctor several times here recently. He thinks I have GI Issues also. I just had an ultrasound and that was normal but am having a endoscopy in a little over a week.
My symptoms are rib and back pain
Tightness in chest almost like a chest cold
I hardly ever have heartburn. Im really confused and scared also. Which doesnt make my anxiety any better!

The following is my list of current symptoms
Acid Reflux/Gas
Chest Pain
Depression
Fatigue
Headaches / Migranes
Lack of focus
Lack of motavation
Light collored skin during episodes
Loss of Appatite
Lump In Back of Throat
Lumpy *****
Persistant Cough
Rash on neck that goes away after a day
Tingling in Stomach and chest
Upset Stomach

And the following is the list of possible causes to those symptoms

sounds like anxiety to me, hun. and possibly a slight cold, from the cough you're experiencing.
